Each month there will be a charm swap.  There will be a different colour scheme every month.

The standards will be 100% cotton, good quality fabrics (no plains, no flannel, no flimsy fabrics.) Pre-wash your fabric and remove salvage edge, carefully cut with a rotary cutter a 61/2 inch square. Please keep in mind the size of print you choose so they will be appropriate for a scrappy quilt.  Out of 1 fat quarter of fabric you will get 6-61/2 inch squares.

If you would like to participate in this fun project, please bring 6-61/2 inch squares in the months colour scheme, in a zip-loc bag to the meeting and take home 6 different 6-1/2 inch squares.

There are several patterns you can make out of these squares for example:

            4 squares

            8 half square triangles

            4 strips for log cabins

Just think of the possibilities.

Colour Schemes for 2008 are as follows:

            January: Small Floral

            February: Red

            March: Greens

April: Whites and Creams (tone on tones)

            May: Yellows and Oranges
